Jason Momoa's Aquaman appearing as surfer, rumors
Actor Jason Momoa has been confirmed to play Aquaman on the 'Batman
vs Superman: Dawn of Justice' cast, though details of how he will
portray the ocean-locked character are still slim. However, there are
news reports suggesting that Momoa's Aquaman will look like a surfer.
"So the first bit of news is that he's going to look like a surfer
essentially with tribal tattoos and all that jazz. Nothing huge and
pretty obvious but for those of you wondering, that's what we hear he'll
look like in the film, which makes sense since it's Momoa playing the
character," Alex Welch wrote in a report published by Schmoes Knows.
The report further establishes Aquaman's character in the upcoming DC
flick. In a scene from Man of Steel, Superman is seen saving men from
an oil rig ultimately causing him to fall into the deep waters.
The superhero was then lifted onto the surface by whales, and it is
rumored that it was actually Aquaman who sent the whales to ensure
Superman's safety.
How Superman got back to the shore was never really discussed or
shown in Man of Steel, and this could be the jumping point to Aquaman's
side story in 'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice.'
Meanwhile, a video has been leaked showing the cast of the movie filming scenes in Michigan Central Station.
